Our service area covers six school districts. The districts are USD 287-West Franklin; USD 420-Osage City; USD 421-Lyndon; USD 434-Santa Fe Trail; USD 454-Burlingame; and USD 456-Marais des Cygnes Valley. Candidates must have a valid Kansas SLP license. SLP`s are responsible for evaluations, writing IEP`s, and provision of speech language services to students as indicated on the Students` Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

Job Goal The Speech-Language Pathologist assists in developing speech and language skills to facilitate the personal, social, and intellectual development of students. In order to respond to the individual needs and abilities of students, the Speech-Language Pathologist must work closely with staff and administration of the cooperative and school district.
