Gen. Ed Teacher (5th & 6th Grade) Tipton Community School in Tipton KS

Smoky Hill Education Service Center is seeking a 5th & 6th Grade Teacher beginning with the 2023-2024 school year for its program at Tipton Community School in Tipton, Kansas. 

The Tipton Community School District serves approximately 900 PK-12 students.  The district staff is committed to creating a personalized learning experience that recognizes and celebrates individual differences and abilities.  The district`s aim is to provide a rigorous academic experience that fosters creativity and curiosity while also ensuring that students social and emotional needs are met.

Requirements for this position:
Valid Kansas teaching license for the content area desired.
Ability to work well with students of all abilities and backgrounds.
Proficiency using technology as an educational tool and for communication.
Ability to work well as part of a team in a challenging and dynamic environment.

Job Type: Full-time – 185 days per year

Salary: $33,500 beginning teacher salary per year
