High School Social Studies

Victoria Schools USD 432 is seeking a certified, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and innovative teacher who can build positive relationships, care about student success, enhance content with relevant experiences, and foster an atmosphere with a desire for learning.   

Qualified individuals should promote high standards for student performance, work cooperatively with other school personnel and parents/guardians, and possess effective communication skills.  The teacher should be able to implement lessons that actively engage students and provide for individual needs of students through a variety of appropriate teaching strategies and techniques. Individualized instruction coupled with intervention is a focus for our teaching team. 

Staff strive to build relationships with students through academics, social-emotional guidance, extracurricular experiences, and an after school program.  Collaboration and working as a team make it a fun place to work and enables us to provide the best for our students. Victoria Schools is pleased to offer ample dual college courses for our high school students.  This position currently encompasses 10-12th grade Social Studies, History, Government, and Civic Projects for seniors.

Teachers at Victoria work together to inspire excellence in our students inside the school, as well as outside of school.    Curriculum updates and improved resources for teachers are a priority for the USD 432 BOE.
