High School Varsity Girls Basketball Coach

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Basketball Coach to join our team. As a Basketball Coach, you will be responsible for teaching and developing basketball skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive learning environment for our players. This is a paid position.

Responsibilities:

- Plan and conduct basketball practices and training sessions

- Teach fundamental basketball skills, techniques, and strategies

- Develop and implement game plans and strategies for competitive play

- Provide individualized coaching and feedback to players

- Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline among players

- Organize and supervise team practices, games, and tournaments

- Ensure the safety of all players during practice sessions and games

- Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to coordinate team activities

Experience:

- Strong knowledge of basketball rules, techniques, and strategies

- Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate basketball skills to players of all ages

- Experience working with students or children in an educational or coaching setting

- Knowledge of physical education principles and practices

Requirements:

- Passion for basketball and a desire to inspire young athletes

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong leadership abilities to motivate and guide players

- Ability to manage behavior effectively during practices and games

- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by the team's schedule
