Kepley Middle School Intervention Teacher: Candidates need to be K-8 Elementary Certified and/or 6-12 ELA Certified in the state of Kansas or eligible for certification in the State of Kansas. Under the direction and supervision of the Principal or designee, the candidate will plan instruction, teach, differentiate instruction, motivate, inspire, and assess students in the English Language Arts. The candidate will promote a high-quality, personalized education program that reflects the Kansas State Content Standards for Middle School English Language Arts. Ulysses USD 214 is looking for a candidate who displays excellent oral and communication skills. USD 214- Ulysses is located in Grant County.  Ulysses, KS, is centrally located between Kansas City, Denver, Wichita, Colorado Springs, Amarillo, and Pueblo.

 

The district has two elementary schools (a preK-2 primary school and a 3-5 elementary school), one middle school, and one high school, 

 

There are approximately 1550 students in grades pre-K through 12th and a teaching staff of approximately 100 teachers.
