Ulysses High School Social Studies Candidates need to be 7-12 Social Studies Certified in the state of Kansas or eligible for certification in the State of Kansas (other Kansas Teaching Certificates will be considered for the position). Under the direction and supervision of the Principal or designee, the candidate will plan instruction, teach, differentiate instruction, motivate, inspire and assess students in Social Studies. The candidate will promote a high quality, personalized education program that reflects the Kansas State Content Standards for High School Social Studies. Ulysses USD 214 is looking for candidate that display excellent oral and communication skills. Dynamic character, personality, flexible, team player and proper social capability to relate effectively with diverse staff, students, parents and the Ulysses community within a rigorous K-12 academic environment.
