Colby Public Schools USD 315 is a 3A school located in western Kansas on Interstate 70.  We have approximately 950 students and over 70 licensed staff members.

There is tremendous support for the school district in the community and surrounding area.  The strength of USD 315 programs stem from the collaborative efforts of staff, the parents, and the community. This includes a strong partnership with Colby Community College whereby students have the opportunity to earn college credit(s) or their Associate Degree prior to high school graduation.

The district is a member of the Northwest Kansas Educational Service Center (Oakley) and Southwest Regional Service Center (Sublette). We are also a member of the Great West Activities Conference (GWAC) League offering football, volleyball, cross country, tennis, golf, basketball, wrestling, track, baseball, softball, scholar`s bowl, band, vocal, forensics and debate. We have a quality security system throughout the district and wireless connectivity in all buildings.

The mission of Colby Public Schools is to prepare all students to be life-long learners and responsible citizens.
