The town of Fredonia is a community with a population of around 2,600. It is located at the rim of the scenic Flint Hills, an area rich with recreational opportunities. The river valleys, range land and wooded hills offer exceptional hunting, outdoor living and trail riding. The nearby three reservoirs and two state lakes offer boating, fishing, water skiing and trail hiking. Fredonia has grown from its 1868 start as the seat of Wilson County into an interesting, diversified community built on a solid foundation. Quiet, friendly and welcoming -- Fredonia is a charming place with a true calming, comfortable "hometown" feel.
